No sin is bigger than the cross
Maybe you’ve done something you can’t stop replaying. Maybe you’re sure you’ve gone too far. Here’s what God says.
““Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow” (Isaiah 1:18).
He turns scarlet into snow. That’s what He does.
Look at who Jesus forgave. Peter, who denied Him three times. A thief dying on a cross beside Him — “Today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43). And Paul, who hunted down Christians and later wrote, “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners — of whom I am the worst” (1 Timothy 1:15).
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace” (Ephesians 1:7).
Not the size of your sin — the riches of His grace.
What about the “unforgivable sin”? Jesus warned about blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (Mark 3:28–29) — a settled, hardened refusal of God’s Spirit. But notice how He started that sentence: “people can be forgiven all their sins.” If you’re worried you’ve gone too far, that worry itself shows a heart that still wants God.
Forgiveness is offered to everyone who comes to Jesus. If you’ve never started, here is how to respond. If you followed Him once and drifted, come home. Carrying guilt you can’t shake? Read this.
Carrying something heavy? We will pray for you by name — you don’t have to tell us what it is.
